Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge
February 24 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join NCWF for an exploration of the history and allure of Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, located in the central and northern regions of the Albemarle-Pamlico peninsula in North Carolina. The habitats of this refuge are due to organic and mineral soils and the depth of the seasonally high water table. The organic soils are combinations of muck and peat; the mineral soils are mixtures of sands, silts, and clays, usually with sandy topsoil.
