Please join NCWF, Pocosin Lakes NWR, and Tyrrell County Library for our kickoff to the Ichthyology ecoEXPLORE Field Season! Participants will learn more about the study of fish and how they can make fish observations over the next 2 months. We’ll venture down to the Scuppernong River to talk more about fish species that call the river home and view them from the boardwalk using bathyscopes!

ecoEXPLORE is a community science program, created by the North Carolina Arboretum, where children of all ages are able to learn how to identify wildlife around them, help real scientists track wildlife activity and earn fun badges and prizes all at the same time!
