The Town of Matthews and HAWK will offer guided hikes/walks on January 1st at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm, at four locations: Matthews Sportsplex, Purser-Hulsey Park, Four Mile Creek Greenway (starting at Squirrel Lake Park), and the Matthews Heritage Trail (starting behind Town Hall). Each location will have an information table with maps, trail information, and trail etiquette. Each hike will be around 1 mile. The hike at Purser Hulsey is slightly longer, as the loop trail is just over 1 mile.
