Wildlife Rescue with Wildside Wildlife Rescue
January 12, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Want to know more about how to help injured animals? The Union County Wildlife Chapter invites you to join them at the Union County Agricultural Center for an in-person presentation by licensed wildlife rehabilitators and owners of Wildside Wildlife Rescue owners, James and Kimberly Crabtree, to learn the ins and outs of wildlife rescue/rehabilitation and how you can help! Kimberly has 20 years of first-hand experience with wildlife, and both Kimberly and James are both licensed Wildlife Rehabilitators in the state of North Carolina. In March of 2022 the Rescue was awarded 501(c)(3) status by the IRS, allowing them to operate as a non-profit organization that helps injured or orphaned wildlife. The rescue takes in any non-rabies-vector small mammals such as squirrels, rabbits and opossums. Recently, they passed inspection for fawn rescue and will be assisting those animals in the coming years.
