Join NCWF’s Katerina Ramos for a guided tour of the Pungo Unit watching the magnificent migratory waterfowl. The tour information will talk about the role Pungo plays in providing a waterfowl sanctuary and the details of Tundra Swan migration! This tour is a follow-the-leader with participants driving their own vehicle following the tour leader. Vehicles are subject to road conditions on the Pungo Unit. It is recommended to arrive with a full tank of gas in a 4WD capable vehicle to avoid getting stuck on the refuge. Roads on the refuge have a weight limit of 8,000 lbs. The tour will begin at the Pungo Unit Kiosk at 600 Refuge Rd Pantego, NC.
