Join NCWF South Wake Conservationists Chapter and witness the incredible spectacle of migratory Chimney Swifts turning in for the night. Chimney swifts once nested in hollow trees, but today they nearly always nest in chimneys or other structures. At dusk, they will swarm around the structure they intend to roost in for the night, and then, in the blink of an eye, they fall into a funnel formation and literally pour into the top of the structure. Come learn about the fascinating habits of this species and then kick back and watch the show. This will be a fun and fascinating observation event for all ages!
