I spy with my little eye…an animal sign! It is a great time of year to be outdoors for a family-friendly discovery walk in the woods. Guided by environmental educator Bonnie Eamick, we will follow an easy path along a stream to find clues that animals have been through. We’ll learn how to identify animal tracks and then enjoy a mile-long stroll through the woods as we seek evidence of animals that live in the forest. Follow the trail along a creek to find tracks that were left and see if you can match it to our pocket guides. Scat – what’s that? Who has been disturbing the leaf litter over there? Is there someone home in that tree hollow? Use your eyes and ears to detect the many animals that leave clues behind!
