Join NCWF, Pocosin Lakes NWR, and Tyrrell County Library for our “Fun with Fungi” program! Families will get to enjoy learning more about fungi by completing a fun-gi activity together and have the opportunity to sample a few fun ways that mushrooms can be cooked because not only do mushrooms provide food for wildlife, certain species also provide nutritious food for humans too when cooked!

ecoEXPLORE is a community science program, created by the North Carolina Arboretum, where children of all ages are able to learn how to identify wildlife around them, help real scientists track wildlife activity, and earn fun badges and prizes all at the same time!
