It’s Ornithology Season! Join NCWF, Pocosin Lakes NWR, and Tyrrell County Library as we dive into this season’s Ornithology Badge and Woodpecker Field Focus Badge. Participants will learn more about the unique birds that call our area home while completing one of the required challenges to help them earn their badges!

ecoEXPLORE is a community science program, created by the North Carolina Arboretum, where children of all ages are able to learn how to identify wildlife around them, help real scientists track wildlife activity, and earn fun badges and prizes all at the same time!
