ecoEXPLORE Plant ID Walk & Litter Cleanup (Columbia)
April 15, 2025 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Join NCWF, Pocosin Lakes NWR, and Tyrrell County Library for an ecoEXPLORE outing where we’ll be identifying local plant species and cleaning up litter around Columbia. Participants will use their botany and pollinator knowledge from this badge season to identify the plants and pollinators around them while giving back to the community by removing harmful litter! All cleanup supplies will be provided.
ecoEXPLORE is a community science program, created by the North Carolina Arboretum, where children of all ages are able to learn how to identify wildlife around them, help real scientists track wildlife activity, and earn fun badges and prizes all at the same time!
