Guided Bird Walk (Concord)
May 10, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
We are at the tail end of spring migration, and summer is rapidly approaching! Many of our summer breeders, like the prothonotary warbler, have already arrived, while others are still traveling north from Central and South America. There are over 60 species of neotropical migrants like vireos, tanagers, buntings, and warblers that nest in North Carolina.
Please join the Concord Wildlife Alliance and Mecklenburg Audubon’s Judy Walker for a fun guided bird walk along the Moss Creek section of the Hector Henry Greenway. This section of greenway travels along the Rocky River and offers numerous opportunities to observe native waterfowl and songbirds. Birders of all abilities are welcome! REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
