Join Keep Ashe Beautiful, the New River Conservancy, MountainTrue, and NC Trout Unlimited for a clean-up and debris removal at Helton Creek in Ashe County. North Carolina Wildlife Federation staff will be present. Trash and debris in waterways create a host of problems for wildlife including entanglement, ingestion, habitat contamination, and degraded water quality. As one of the premier trout fisheries, clean-up efforts are vital at Helton Creek. Good boots (rubber if you have them) are essential and waders are recommended! We look forward to seeing you there!
