Invasive Pests, Honey Bees, and other Pollinators (Monroe or Online)

The North Carolina Department of Agriculture is on alert for signs of the non-native invasive yellow-legged hornet in North Carolina. This species has not yet been found in our state, but has been collected in nearby Georgia and South Carolina. This large wasp has shown to have a detrimental impact on honey bees and native pollinators.
