Join NCWF Neuse River Hawks Conservationists Chapter in removing invasive plants at Main Street Park in Rolesville! Our team will work to remove Japanese stiltgrass, English ivy, privet, and other invasives in the forest behind the playground. This effort will help us prepare the site for native plants (stay tuned – workday coming early November!) and allow wildlife to reclaim the area. Please come equipped with a full water bottle; long sleeves and pants are recommended. Gloves and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. We will meet in the parking lot, and after a brief introduction, we’ll take a short walk together to the worksite.
