NCWF is forming a chapter in the Swannanoa Valley. The community has expressed a lot of interest in projects around Lake Tomahawk. Join NCWF staff and Swannanoa Valley chapter leaders as we kick things off with a garden workday at the edge of Lake Tomahawk in Black Mountain. We’ll be primarily focusing on removing invasive species by hand as we prepare the space for mulching this summer and planting this fall. We hope you’ll join us as we work toward transforming this garden into suitable habitat for wildlife. Afterwards, we’ll relax together and enjoy a picnic lunch. Please bring lunch for yourself and something to share if you wish!
