Pembroke Creek Park Litter Cleanup (Edenton)
January 11, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join NCWF Wildlife Habitat Stewards of Northeastern NC Chapter for a litter cleanup at Pembroke Creek Park in Edenton! In partnership with Edenton-Chowan Recreation Department and Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership, volunteers of all ages are invited to participate in a morning of removing harmful litter from this unique habitat to benefit wildlife and humans alike. NCWF Wildlife Habitat Stewards of Northeastern NC Chapter are hosting “holiday habitat trash parties” throughout the holiday season to remove litter from wildlife habitat across our region. This cleanup event at the park will serve as a finale to the holiday cleanup series and we look forward to seeing the incredible impact it has for wildlife, habitat, and people across Northeastern NC.
All cleanup supplies will be provided. If you are interested in collecting litter from the water and have a kayak/canoe, please feel free to bring yours from home!
Parking and a kayak launch are available on site. Restrooms will be available.
Please bring plenty of water and dress for the weather in closed-toed shoes!
