Pollinator Pitstop Prep (Charlotte)

On this date, we partner with NC Wildlife Federation and Central Carolinas Master Naturalist Volunteers to beautify Veterans Park for the installation of a NEW “Pollinator Pitstop” along the Butterfly Highway! Tasks for the day will include: removal of sod from the planned area, covering with mulch, staking/flagging the mulched area for safety, etc. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a shovel, pitchfork or wheelbarrow, if you have them – some tools will be available.
