Habitat Builders plants a lot of trees and we have aspirations to plant a lot more. Because we are interested in supporting wildlife, we like to plant native trees, but native trees can be difficult to find. So we decided to create our own Mini Tree Farm.

Drop in any time and help us pot up our little trees so they will become big, healthy trees. We have a variety of trees, including White Oak, Red Oak, Shumard Oak, Hickory, Red Maple, Eastern Red Cedar, Tulip Poplar, Redbud, and more. We have 50 seven-gallon planting bags and a big, big pile of soil.

This is the beginning of a years-long process. The goal is to grow the trees to 15-gallon pot size, when they will be ready for playgrounds, parks, and maybe even your yard. So come out and help us get started! Drop in anytime!
