Do you want to find out what’s swimming, lurking, floating, and crawling in the Watauga River? Now is your chance! Join NCWF High Country Wild and MountainTrue with support from Watauga County, Blue Ridge Conservancy, and Blue Ridge Resource Conservation & Development Council for a river exploration event. We will catch and release crawfish, snails, and other interesting macroinvertebrates as we discuss biodiversity and the importance of healthy waterways. People of all ages are welcome at this event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the event. See you there for a fun morning in the river!
