North Carolina Wildlife Federation is poised and ready to mobilize grassroots conservation in your region. Our organization recently hired a new full time Conservation Coordinator based in the Asheville area. We have never been in a better position to support the formation of an NCWF Community Wildlife Chapter in Black Mountain and the greater Swannanoa Valley.

Join NCWF staff and community members at the Black Mountain Public Library for a conversation about what it takes to be an NCWF Chapter and how to get involved. We’ll start with a brief presentation and then open things up for discussion. Our Community Wildlife Chapters are each uniquely designed to empower local wildlife enthusiasts, of all walks of life, to have a direct and effective impact on conservation in their local communities.
