The Great Southeast Pollinator Census (Marvin)

August 23, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join NCWFs MARSH Chapter at Marvin Efird Park for an exciting pollinator prowl! Participants will look for, count, and identify different pollinators in the park. This community science project was created by the University of Georgia. Data collected can be used by Educators, City Planners, Researchers, and Gardeners to understand more about our native pollinators and plants and how to best conserve them.

We will provide a short training and all the paperwork you need to get started. Once you’ve become an expert Pollinator Counter at the park you can take Counting Sheets home and count in your own garden. This is a great activity for all ages!
