Join NCWF Durham Wildlife Stewards Chapter and the Haw River Assembly for a fall trash cleanup! Trash and debris that wash into waterways create a host of problems for wildlife including entanglement and ingestion. Trash traps are contraptions that catch litter that washes off into creeks and streams to prevent man-made trash from washing further downstream. Volunteers will sort and count trash from the Trash Trap on Third Fork Creek in Durham. Come lend a hand to protect our waterways!
