Join NCWF’s Wildlife Habitat Stewards of the Northeastern NC Chapter for a guided paddle through one of North Carolina’s most biologically rich ecosystems. Wildlife photographer and nature enthusiast Cole Barlow, along with Elyssa Royer, will lead us through the tranquil waters of the millpond, home to beavers, otters, alligators, turtles, snakes, as well as many species of birds and amphibians. As we glide beneath old-growth cypress trees draped in Spanish moss, we’ll watch for wildlife to observe and identify. Don’t forget your binoculars and cameras, this is a nature lover’s dream!
