Fall Native Plant Sale (Camden)

Join NCWF Wildlife Habitat Stewards of Northeastern NC Chapter for their native perennial plant sale on Sunday, October 13 from 1 pm – 3 pm at the Camden County Library! Their plant selection will include:
Blue Mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum)
Full Sun – Partial Sun
Prefers moist soils in meadows, naturalized areas, and ponds but can tolerate dry soils as well
3 – 6’ tall
Blue flowers in the late summer through fall (up to 8 weeks!)
Spreads by rhizomes, self-seeding
Deer resistant
Swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata)
Full Sun – Partial Sun
Water-loving. Perfect for rain gardens, along streams, lakes, ponds, or swamps
3 – 5’ tall
Pink flowers in mid-spring to early fall
Host plant for the Monarch Butterfly
Deer resistant
Spotted Joe-Pye-Weed (Eutrochium maculatum)

Prefers moist to wet soil
