Invasives Blitz at Johnson Environmental Education Park (Fuquay-Varina)

Join NCWF South Wake Conservationists Chapter and Wake Audubon for an invasive plant blitz at Carroll Howard Johnson Environmental Education Park in Fuquay Varina. The NC Natural Heritage Progam lists portions of this site as 7 out of 10 for natural diversity, which is exceptional for a suburban/urban location! Volunteers at this workday will continue to help remove invasive plants like Chinese privet, oriental bittersweet, English ivy, and autumn olive. In addition to the ongoing series of invasives workdays, our teams are starting to plan additonal conservation project ideas together so stay tuned!
