Join NCWF Triad Wild Chapter and staff from the U.S. Forest Service for a hike on the Uwharrie Trail up to the summit of Little Long Mountain! Darren Stebbins (Forester) and Noah Clements (Biological Science Technician) with Uwharrie National Forest will be leading the hike. Topics for discussion will include fire ecology, forestry, invasive species management, and wildlife conservation. We’ll hike out and back for a total of 1.7 miles. Expect moderate intensity due to some steep and rocky sections of trail. We hope to see you there!
