Join NCWF Union County Wildlife Chapter and City of Monroe Environmental Educator, Ellen Dowling, for a stream walk and talk. Investigate a local waterway with others in your community. We will start indoors with an engaging presentation before walking to a nearby stream. Outside we will work together to assess the stream by observing its physical characteristics. We will get our hands dirty and feet wet searching for aquatic wildlife (macroinvertebrates), which indicate stream health and water quality. You won’t want to miss out!
