
Wonders of Winter Ecology (Asheville)

Join ReWild AVL in learning about the wonders of winter ecology in Pisgah National Forest. We’ll learn about magnificent trees, birds and bird language, fungi, animal tracking, and how wildlife responds and adapts to the pressures of winter. We will employ active/experiential learning and group discussions as we take time to immerse ourselves in the outdoors We will engage in hands-on learning and utilizing field guides for accurate field identifications. Luke Cannon – an expert naturalist of Western North Carolina – will be our guide for the class. Location details will be sent in a confirmation email following registration.
