Join NCWF South Wake Conservationists Chapter for a volunteer work day at our shade pollinator garden at Bass Lake Park! We’ll be getting the garden ready for the cooler months with a mix of seasonal maintenance and new planting. Volunteer activities will include garden cleanup and weeding, installing new native shrubs and perennials, and applying a final layer of mulch before winter.

No special experience is needed! We’ll have tools available to borrow, but volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, water, and any favorite garden tools you’d like to use. Come spend some time outside, meet fellow conservation-minded neighbors, and help us continue building valuable pollinator habitat right here in our community.
