Join NCWF Triad Wild Chapter for a presentation about turtles! Ann Berry Somers, Senior Lecturer Emerita at UNCG, will share information about the Box Turtle Connection. This long-term study of box turtles in North Carolina is designed to help researchers learn about trends in turtle population, identify threats, and develop strategies for long term conservation of the species. Educators from Greensboro Parks and Recreation will be bringing ambassador turtles! Be sure to stick around to observe a variety of turtle species and learn to identify their differences!
