Join North Carolina Wildlife Federation and Daniel Stowe Conservancy for a morning of Pollinator Pitstop site prep. NCWF is partnering with Daniel Stowe to conducts trials of our Butterfly Highway seed mix. Not only will these trials inform tips and methods for site prep and seed sowing, they will transform the newly installed sidewalk area into a vibrant Pollinator Pitstop filled with native plants.

Volunteers are needed to help us prepare the sites by shoveling sod, spread mulch, and building borders. The morning will culminate with seed sowing of 6 plots! We will track these plots overtime and document the life cycle of each species in the mix. Minimum age of 16 years to participate and accompanied by an adult if under 18. Registration is required so we can share event details and last-minute changes.
