Leveraging contributions from our donors and partners, we purchase trees and organize volunteer tree planting events at select sites throughout the Mecklenburg County area. The sites are specifically selected to improve air and water quality, tree canopy, and wildlife habitat. Our volunteers make this possible by planting seedlings and installing weed mats, tree tubes and fiberglass stakes which protect each new tree from weed growth, flooding and deer browsing.
