Smoky Mountains Wilderness Watch Earth Day Social & Chapter Chartering (Balsam)
April 23, 2026 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Are you passionate about wildlife? Do you want to make a difference in your corner of the world?
As the newest chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, Smoky Mountains Wilderness Watch advocates for wildlife conservation, habitat protection, and responsible land stewardship across the Western North Carolina counties of Haywood, Jackson, and Swain.
Join us at the Balsam Mountain Inn (Jackson County) between Sylva and Waynesville to learn more about the chapter and discover different ways to get involved as we celebrate together. A cash bar will be available. This event is free of charge and all are welcome. Together we can keep the Smoky Mountains wild!
