Fin-tastic Fishing Festival (Fayetteville)

Join NCWF Fall Line Outdoors Chapter and NC Wildlife Resources Commission for the 2026 Fin-Tastic Fishing Festival at the John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center in Fayetteville. This free, family-friendly day will be filled with fishing, outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, conservation education, food, and giveaways!
Come out and enjoy catch-and-release fishing, kayaking, casting contests, lure making, fly-fishing, fly-tying, fishing knots, BB gun range, boating simulator, Leave No Trace education, live demonstrations, and more. Be sure to stick around for a chance to win a Lifetime Unified Sportsman License for kids 15 and under, sponsored by the North Carolina Wildlife Federation.
Bring your own medium-action rod and reel and natural bait if you have them. No minnows allowed. Don’t have gear? No problem—fishing combos will be available to borrow, and worms will be provided. Bring the family, make memories, and experience a Fin-Tastic day outdoors!
