Guided Bird Walk (Concord)

May 18, 2024 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

May marks the tail end of spring migration as summer rapidly approaches. Many of our summer residents have already arrived while others are still traveling north from Central and South America. There are over 60 species of neotropical migrants like vireos, tanagers, buntings, and warblers that nest in North Carolina.

Please join the Concord Wildlife Alliance and NCWF Conservation Coordinator Alden Picard for a fun guided bird walk along the Moss Creek section of the Hector Henry Greenway. This section of greenway travels along the Rocky River and offers numerous opportunities to observe native waterfowl and songbirds.

Birders of all abilities – 12 years old and up – are welcome!
