Join NCWF South Wake Conservationists Chapter for a herp hike along the American Tobacco Trail in Apex! Kara Solomon, Conservation Coordinator for the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, will lead this stroll. As we walk, we’ll talk about some of the local reptiles and amphibians we might see and where to find them. We’ll keep an eye out for our herp friends as we explore the wetlands and woods along the trail looking for frogs, toads, turtles, and more!

This walk will take place along a paved and gravel trail and is fun for all ages. We’ll stroll for about 1.5 mile total, stopping to see what we see along the way. Join us for a “turtley” awesome walk!
