Kids of all ages are invited to South Wake Conservationists’ third annual Kids in Nature Day! This is the premier free event of our Eco Kids Program, connecting kids with nature through a wide variety of fun, interactive, and hands-on activities. Attended by more than 800 area children and parents last year, Kids in Nature Day 2024 promises to be even bigger and better this year, with 10 new exhibitors!
There will be twenty-six different activity centers, including live animals, pond exploration, nature crafts, scavenger hunts, and much more! Ranger Rick will be there to greet the kids, there will be fanciful music, and fresh-cooked food will be available onsite.
