Attended by hundreds of children and parents the past four years, NCWF South Wake Conservationists’ Kids in Nature Day is back again by popular demand! We will have a variety of live animal exhibits — including the very popular birds-of-prey, reptiles, amphibians, cool “bugs,” aquatic life, and more — as well as over twenty different interactive and nature-oriented activity stations.

Our whimsical musician will be onsite again for interactive musical fun, and Ranger Rick will be all around the event greeting the kids and posing for photos. There will also be ice cream and other treats available.

Walk down the paths along the field, through the woods, and down by the lake to discover the many different activities with plenty of space to not feel crowded. Earn cool prizes by getting your activity cards stamped and, most importantly, have fun!
