Join NCWF Triad Wild Chapter in partnership with the T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society for our May Nature Walk at Cane Creek Mountains Natural Area. Due to the mountain’s elevation, there are many plant species that are not easily found elsewhere in Alamance County or in the Piedmont. We will listen and look for birds including Indigo Buntings, Northern Flickers, Yellow-breasted Chats, Summer Tanagers, and Louisiana Waterthrushes. Join us for a nature walk as we discover the diverse plants, pollinators, birds, and amphibians of this unique habitat!
