Pollinator Workday (Monroe)

July 11, 2026 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

Join NCWF Union County Wildlife chapter for a pollinator garden workday at the Union County Agricultural Center pollinator pitstop. On October 19th, a group of Wildlife Habitat Steward volunteers installed a Pollinator Pitstop at the Union County Agricultural Center. Native warm season grasses, flowering perennials, and native seeds were sown to create habitat for pollinators and other wildlife. Volunteers will help weed the pollinator garden, spread mulch, and beautify the habitat. You are encouraged to bring a pair of gloves and your favorite gardening tool. We will have some available.
