Salmon Creek Moth Night (Merry Hill)

NCWF Wildlife Habitat Stewards of Northeastern NC Chapter invites nature enthusiasts of all ages to participate in an exciting moth observation night at Salmon Creek State Natural Area in Bertie County. Together, we’ll enjoy observing and identifying species of moths and other nocturnal insects while listening to the sounds of the night. There are only 34 documented species of moths in Bertie County and we’re on a mission to record new species to the state’s record to help researchers better understand moth populations in our region!
