Join NCWF Tri-County Conservationists Chapter for a park tour and invasive removal at Saxapahaw Island Park! First, we will tour this 30-acre island in the middle of the Haw River, paying special attention to the early-spring wildflowers in bloom and the extensive storm debris that resulted from last July’s near-record flooding. Then, we will help restore habitat for wildlife by removing invasive Chinese privet from the park. Come learn and lend a hand!
