Swannanoa Valley Wild is a local chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation covering Black Mountain, Swannanoa, and Montreat. The chapter works to conserve wildlife and its habitat in the Swannanoa Valley area through community events like habitat restoration workdays, educational programs, and social gatherings.

Do you have a passion for wildlife and habitat? Are you interested in volunteering and/or serving on the chapter’s leadership team? This is a great opportunity! Join us for an open board meeting at the Robertson Room at YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain. We will be filling everyone in on the successes and challenges as we move forward as a chapter. The chapter has open leadership roles that we will discuss and open up for folks to apply. Protecting, conserving, and restoring wildlife and habitat is a big job and we need your help!
