Yates Mill Garden Workday (Raleigh)

Join NCWF South Wake Conservationists Chapter for a Pollinator Garden Clean‑Up at Yates Mill County Park! The SWC Gardens & Wildlife Habitats Committee is hosting a garden maintenance event at the native pollinator garden at Yates Mill County Park. We’ll be working in two volunteer shifts—choose the one that fits your comfort level.
Shift 1: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM – For volunteers experienced or willing to help pull out poison ivy and thorny bramble. Long sleeves and long pants are strongly recommended.
Shift 2: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – General garden maintenance: weeding, thinning, and tidying. You may encounter poison ivy; we can help you identify it.
We look forward to working together to care for this beautiful pollinator garden and support the wildlife that depends on it!
