Birds, Habitat, & Community (Asheville)
May 13, 2026 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Join ReWild AVL for a relaxing and engaging evening at Karen Cragnolin Park along the French Broad River in Asheville!
We’ll adventure on a guided bird walk led by Amy Jackson, January eBirder of the Month, while we learn about the incredible habitat restoration work happening on site. You’ll hear from Emily Sampson of Patchwork Meadows, who led the native plant meadow installation, and learn more about ongoing restoration efforts at the park from Hannah Coats, RiverLink’s Land Resources Manager.
Whether you’re brand new to birding or already experienced, this is a great chance to connect with others who care about wildlife in Western North Carolina, discover how restoration supports local species, and spend meaningful time outdoors.
Come curious, bring your binoculars if you have them, and help build community around a shared love for wildlife and habitat.
