Green Swamp in the Fall (Supply)

Join NCWF and Cape Fear Sierra Club for a walk through one of the most diverse wetlands on the east coast. The Green Swamp is a longleaf pine savanna that is managed by fire which creates openness and plant diversity. Some of the plants we hope to see include: varieties of lady tresses, blazing star, deer’s tongue, slender rattlesnake root, and fall grasses.
