Lake Crabtree Pollinator Festival (Morrisville)
June 6, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Help celebrate National Pollinator Week a little early at this long-running annual pollinator festival at Lake Crabtree County Park! Volunteer with NCWF South Wake Conservationists Chapter and support their mission to get the wildlife and habitat conservation message out to the community.
As with all of our exhibits, all activities and supplies are pre-planned and ready to go. We just need a few volunteers to help set up, welcome our visitors, and guide kids activities during the event. Second shift will help pack things up at the end, which usually goes quickly.
This will be the first year that SWC is exhibiting at this event. It is especially important for us to show our support for this park, as they have been directed by the FAA through the RDU Airport Authority to redevelop 136 acres of the park for commercial purposes, leaving appoximately 70 acres for the public park. Lake Crabtree County Park is one of the most visited parks in the Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space system. Even if you can’t volunteer, we hope you will stop by our table and show support for Lake Crabtree County Park!
