Lake Tomahawk in Black Mountain is a hotspot for wildlife particularly waterfowl with multiple species breeding and nesting along the edge of the lake. Join NCWF Swannanoa Valley Wild at Lake Tomahawk in Black Mountain for a nest box building workday. We’ll be primarily constructing and installing wood duck boxes. This is a fun family-friendly opportunity to support wildlife conservation on a grassroots level. We’ll meet under the shelter beside the tennis courts. See you there!
