Invasive Plant Removal – Part 2 (Charlotte)

March 24, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

As the host of Charlotte Earth Day 2024 and the keeper of Charlotte’s oldest standing home, this historic site is currently overrun by invasive species and needs our help!

Join us to help make this site a Certified Wildlife and Native Plants Habitat. This is a continuation of our monthly volunteer series with the goal of re-establishing native plants, removing invasive species, and beautifying the grounds around Charlotte’s oldest home.

We will also be joined by the Daughters of the American Revolution, who will be cleaning the 1774 Rock House, but we need your help! Bring your gardening tools – loppers, pruners, saws, tarps, and gloves – and be ready to get your hands dirty.

Stay after for a free tour of the rockhouse and museum! Snacks will be provided.
