Join the South Wake Conservationists for a vigorous trail maintenance activity, as they continue to partner with the Triangle Land Conservancy. South Wake Conservationists have “adopted” the Swift Creek Bluffs Nature Preserve as one of the chapter’s focus areas for conservation efforts in south Wake County. On this workday, the chapter will be securing the railings on the famous “stairway to heaven” by adding and pounding gravel around posts that have gotten loose this year. Tools will be provided. This is a great opportunity to enhance the trail network and in turn provide people with the opportunity to connect with nature at Swift Creek Bluffs.
