Wildlife Rescue (Monroe)

January 11, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Want to know more about how to help injured animals? Join the Union County Wildlife Chapter for a night with Wildside Wildlife Rescue! We will hear about the ins and outs of wildlife rescue/rehabilitation, and learn what we can each do to help.

The owners of the Wildside Wildlife Rescue are James and Kimberly Crabtree. Kimberly has 20 years of first-hand experience with wildlife, and both Kimberly & James hold current Wildlife Rehabilitation Licenses from the state of North Carolina.

In March of 2022 this organization was awarded 501c3 status from the IRS allowing them to operate as a non-profit organization to help injured and orphaned wildlife. The rescue takes in any non-rabies vector small mammals such as squirrels, rabbits and opossums. Recently, they also passed inspection for fawn rescue and will be assisting these animals in the coming years.
